Nathan, you mentioned a distant cousin that had a good web site. Could you give me the url for his site? I am researching my WHITE line and have hit my "brick wall" with my great grandmother Emaline WHITE (1842-1919) who married William NORRIS (1838-1894). They lived in Piney Flatts, TN until about 1864 when they moved to what is now White Co., IL. Although I have lots of information about their descendants, I can't find anything about their parents and other ancestors. Family stories say that their ancestors may have come from AL, NC, or MS but I can't find anything. Anyway, I am interested in looking at your cousin's web site with the hope that I might find some tidbit of family info., but also because I am trying to put together a web site and would like to look at good web sites with the hope of learning and getting ideas from people knowledgeable about computers and genealogy who know what they are doing.
