Sam, I can imagine the culture shock. Yes, O.L. Gilchrist is a fine person and he really believes in sharing... a sometimes rare quality in today's world. He connected me with a White cousin who still lives in Bertie County, N.C., Aubrey "Bud" White. He came to visit me in Naples. They have a White reunion at the little country church in Baldwin County, Al every other year and he went to that last year. My cousin, (a woman), is pastor and she let him get up and make a talk. He has about burned out on this genealogy stuff and I haven't heard from him in a while. I have to let it go from time-to-time, also. Take care.
