Just saw the name Elisha White listed and thought I'd take a chance in posting. I just learned today that my ggg grandfather was Elisha White, b. 1797 but I don't know where. He was married to a Ersby? b. 1820. Their daughter was Martha White, b. 6/5/1834 TN d. 10/4/1894 Polk Cty. TN. Do you think there might be a connection to your line?
