I am looking for information about Alice WHITE possibly born in Appleby Leicestershire or Tamworth Staffordshire, daughther of of William (born c. 1816 Tamworth Staffordshire) and Catherine (born c. 1821 Tamworth Staffordshire, maiden name unkown) WHITE. Alice is given as being the mother of my great grandfather Charles Taylor WHITE, born 25 Jun 1867 Appleby Leicestershire, on his birth certificate and no name is given for the father. I have Charles with his grandfather in the 1881 Census, but no sign of Alice, along with whom I presume are some/all of Alice's siblings.
