I have had some interesting and I think good help in deciding what to do about the White Group Sheets. After receiving these suggestions I tried Charlene's suggestions and spent about an hour typing in names without even one hit. I will probably go back and try some more later but have decided not to bid on these sheets. Look at the information and suggestions I have received below and see if you don't agree with me. You never know what you will get. I did find that most of Yates collection is several years old. This is mostly take your chance. And this one was listed in the digest and comes from Charlene White. I did a search for Alexander White and the first name to fit the bill was this listing: WHITE, Alexande 1696 , Jean (Joan) 1698 PA 259.000 DB CGA 1 When I click on the contact I see the submitters name/address and the date the file was submitted. Another 'hit' was this one WHITE, ALEXANDE 1810 SC ROSS, MARGARET 1814 TN 1592.372 F! 1 This Alexander White had no submitter info. If you want a copy of the data they have, it's 1.00 per page +postage. Probably be wiser to check the site for your particular names rather than buy into bulk packaging of group sheets .... given the sheer volume of sheets (375) in this particular set.
