I am interested in information on Reverend John White, known as the "Patriarch of Dorchester", a Puritan Minister that was involved in the extablishent of a fishery and planter enterprise in the area known as Cape Ann, MA, in the early 1600s. Supposedly, John's daughter married Reverend John Wesley, founder of the Methodist movement. My ancestors of the Cape Ann settlemnent was Thomas Gardner who married Elizabeth White. Elizabeth is believed to be in some way related to the Rev. John White, but I have not been able to find a solution to this question....... Thanks for any help......Richard
