Hello all. I'm new to the list, so I'll post my interests in the hope that someone will recognize something. William WHITE was born about 1832 in Leeds, Yorkshire. He married Frances SINKER (born 1837) in 1862 in Chorlton, Manchester, England. They were both still alive at the time of the 1881 Census. William and Frances (a.k.a. Fanny) had six children: 1. Phyllis Lavena, born 10 February 1864 2. Henry, born about 1869 3. William born about 1871 4. Mary A., born about 1873 5. Sarah, born about 1876 6. Joseph, born 1880 In 1881, the family were living at 8 Wilson Street, Bradford, Lancashire. Everyone except the father William and the baby Joseph are reported as having been born in Openshaw (part of Manchester). [Joseph was born at Bradford.] Phyllis Lavena married Thomas George SPEAKE on 03 March 1883 in Bradford Beswick, Prestwich, Lancashire. This is in the Manchester area.
