There was a Lige White who married Kate Tissons; had a son named Willie White b. 1/2/1900 WV or NC, died 1/3/1982 OH; married Mattie Lou Rice b. 4/20/1902 WV or NC, died 8/12/1984. I am assuming the name was Eligah because he was called Lige. That's about the only info I have on him except he was born about 1830-1832. Died about 1866. Family was supposedly from NC, but wound up in Hardin Co. TN. Don't know who he married. Had daughter, Eliza Caroline, son William Augustus (b. 1857), and at least two more sons.
