Am looking for information on the John WHITE that died in Washington Co, TN. His wife's name was Ann and his tombstone at New Bethel Ch says that he was born 15 Jul 1754 and died 25 Aug 1796. I have his children but would like to know more about his ancestry and migration to TN. It appears that he was one of the Scotch-Irish that settled in TN in the late 1700's and he probably came from PA. He may be a descendant of the brothers Hugh and Moses White that settled in Lancaster Co, PA but no known connection has as yet been found. Any suggestions on the movements and ancestry of John will be appreciated.
