    3. Bill, Do you have information on the slaves that Joseph gave to James? I have a Maria White (birthdate unknown) who lived on a farm in what is now Darlington Co., SC. I believe she was a slave. She married a white man who was an overseer, surname Mangum. They had a son named Augustus White. Hew as born in 1859 and died in 1913.
