Several months ago I sent off to the Texas state Archives to receive a copy of the pension application for Sidney Agustus White. I later found out that he was not one of my family members, so I will mail this to anyone else that it would help in their research. The application is for Sidney Agustus White turned 67 years old in Dec. 1913, born in Irdell County N. Carolina. At the time of application he resided in Maxey, Lamar County, Texas. He served in the served in the Confederate army in the 8th N. Carolina Co. A until he was imprisoned at Point lookout. Randy Gray r-dgray@worldnet.att.net
