I have a book, John Wesley Hardin by Lewis Nordyke, which talks about a Jim White being hired as trail hand to take Wes' cattle up the trail..The trail boss was J.B. "Doc" Bockius and other trail hands were Kute Tuggle, and Scrap Taylor, a cousin of Jim. (I believe this refers to Jim Taylor, Wes' partner.
