    3. Donna, I'm sorry, but the three Isaac's I have were all born in Tn...1819, 1826, and 1836 with different wives, and not a whole lot at that. I put something I found on the list awhile back on an Isaac, but have absolutely no idea where to find it...Jean FLY23AIR@aol.com wrote: > Dear Jean: > > Do you have any information on Isaac White born 1836 in Ohio and married to > a Sarah Jane Bowers......they had at least Obe A. 3. I descend from Woodford White, born 1820. He ended up in Kanawha County, WV around 1840, where he lived most of his life. But, according to some family records, he worked as a boat builder along the James River in Virginia. He had at least one brother named Bluford (or Renford). Can anyone help me? Thanks, Shannon White

    3. Hi: I wonder if there's a connection to my Stephen WHITE among your Stephen Sr.'s children? My gggrandfather Stephen WHITE claimed NC as his birthplace, but there are so few Stephens among all the WHITES that I think it's worth checking. My Stephen would have been in his early 40s in 1850--maybe Sr. was really active?? Or maybe this is even a grandson. My Stephen m Nancy PARKINSON, who was b in TN, had a son, James,my ggrandfather, b 1846 in Sangamon County, IL, as well as several older children; by 1850 he was in Lafayette County, WI, and we have no trace of him after that. An old note from a family member lists Stephen's first name as Stephenson, but all other records have him as Stephen. Let me know if you see any connection--glad to share what I have. 2. I believe my ancestor, Allen White, went from Bertie County, NC to Illinois BEFORE he moved on to TN. He is on the 1830 census for Maury county, TN. I also THINK his full name was James Allen White. His father was Peter White, a Rev. War vet from Bertie county, NC. Interestingly enough, this Allen White had a son named Peter Doss White, who married a woman named Malinda Jane Hall, who was born in Fairfield, Illinois. Maybe they met up there and came down with Allen? Thanks for any help you may provide. Sam

    3. Resolved White was born about 1615/1619, in Holland or England, and came on the Mayflower with his parents, William and Susanna White. His mother married Edward Winslow after William died that first winter in Plymouth. Revolved married Judith Vassall, born 1619, Stephney, Middlesex County, England, died Marshfield, Massachusetts, but there is no record of when. Her father and mother were William Vassall and Anna King. Anna White, born 4 June 1649, Scituate, Massachusetts, died 25 May 1714, Concord, Massachusetts. She married on 2 June 1671 to John Hayward, born 20 December 1640, Concord, died 22 November 1718, Concord. Is there anyone descended from these couples? Helen MacDonald
