Although family papers indicated that William White was a Methodist minister who moved to Virginia from New England and married a widow, there is no data available at this time to support where he came from or indicate that Catherine was a widow. My GGrandfather was A H White. Unfortunately I do not know what his actual name was. He married a Francis (Frances?) Freeland on July 14, 1902 in Paris, TX. This marriage has been confirmed, but on the records he is listed as A H White. I do know that he died in 1912 in McCurtain, OK and that he had two daughters, one by his first wife, and a second by Francis. If anyone thinks that they might have a connection to this A H White, please let me know. This has become a huge brick wall that my cousins and I can not get past. Thank you! Debbi Craig

Virgil Delmer White died Saturday, Feb, 2000 , at Decatur Community Hospital in Decatur Texas. Mr. White was born in Jan. 15.1930 in Neosho,mo. He married Martha Jean Junell DEC. 20.1958 in Kaufman Texas. Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Saturday Feb. 12.2000 at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Survivors include his wife Martha of Decatur, two daughters, Sharon Curry of England and Deborah White of Decatur, brother Don White of Mesquite, TX. and 5 grandchildren.

Is there any chance that your John C White was a John Cary White? (That was my GGGgrandfather) He was born in GA about 1817 and moved to Texas before 1836.
