Katie White Burger, 79, of Powhatan, WV, died Feb. 19th, 2000, at the Welch Emergency Hospital in Welch, WV. Katie was born August 30th, 1920, to the late Walter and Mary Etta White. Katie married Walter Burger and from this union, 13 children were born. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Jessie James Burger and Adam Burger; two sisters, Ida Carter and Alberta Cunningham; and one brother, Silas White. In his will Elisha and Margaret are in Izard Co. Ark. I don't believe they stayed there (but they may have). Some children were probably grown and did not go. I know my ggggrandfather (John) stayed in McMinn Co. TN. Narcissa and James Magness (Margaret sister and brother-in-law were in Izard Co. also).
