    1. [WHITE] Judith (WHITE) Shollar
    2. I am looking for the parents of Judith (WHITE) Shollar. Any help will be appreciated. Here's what I know: Judith White Shollar (b. 1806 in Huntingdon Co. Pennsylvania; d.1882). She was married to Jacob N. Shollar (1804-1853). Jacob was born in Lancaster, Co. Pa. Children's names: Martin V, Nancy, Christopher, Rachel, Thomas, James S. In 1850 I believe they are in Woodberry Township in Williamsburg, PA. There is a Jane Ketner living with Judith and Jacob in 1850, she is an older woman (the census says she was born in Maryland). There is a Joseph Ketner two doors down from Judith and Jacob, so perhaps the Ketner's are related to Judith or Jacob. Thanks for the help. Sue

    3. I have an Absalom White, b 1772 in Loudoun Co, Va who mar a Phebey Adcock in Randolph Co, NC on Dec 16, 1801, and who was parent of my Nathan White b 1802 in Va...who mar Deborah York in 1821, and also had a son Samuel, as well as Nathan had a brother named Samuel who I have not been able to trace yet. I think the dates are compatible as being the brother (era 1802 to 1810). Absalom, the father died on June 20, 1831 in Limestone Co, Tn, and Nathan was executor of his will. I have found it listed in several indexes, but have not been able yet to read the will and see what children are named. It is in Limestone Co, Ala Wills.. pg 310, and on Aug 29, 1831 Nathan was named executor of his will. Samuel McClay James Grigsby and Jeffrey Murrels and Samuel (couldn't read name) acted as appraisers of his estate. He was also listed in the 1830 census of Limestone co Ala on page 64. Several of Absalom's brothers and some of his sisters went to Indiana and Illinois. I can not find a Strickland listed in my database. If you can trace anything down on this let me know and I can help take you further back with the Whites. And I would like to have the information on this Samuel also. It was a popular name in White line. I have a son to my Nathan named Samuel who lived in Ms and is accounted for. Good luck, Jean White McCoy mccoy@gvtc.com Kappykan@aol.com wrote: > Searching for information re Samuel White b 1810 in Virginia or South > Carolina, and his descendants. > He married Sarah (Sally Ann) Strickland in 1833.
