Hello the site.. I have Benjamin WHITE, b.1684, M.1714 Faith OAKMAN, b.1697.. Their children were; Abagail, b.1715, Tabatha, b.1717, Lydia, b.1719 and Jedidiah, b.1721.. I believe that Benjamin was the grandson of Perigrine WHITE, b.1620, The day before the landing at PLYMOUTH.. Part of my problem is that I have NO idea where they night have migrated to or when.. I am new to the WHITE family research and list. I am looking for an early connection to the Eppie Morris White - son of CARTER WHITE line. I found JOHN A. WHITE (b in GA) married Mary Mathews in 1834 in Sumter Co, AL and records of two children, George Quincy White (b1847) and Emily Catherine White (b1845). Emily married Charles S MORRISON (two of his sisters married WHITE). I have a 'by marriage' connection, but would earnestly desire to connect JOHN A. WHITE as an earlier part of the WHITE family. Charles and Emily White Morrison are my ggrandparents. I think I have the right facts so far, but need help now. HENRY W. WHITE (b 1872 Randolph Co.AL) son of Eppie Morris White also disappeared. I have an ancestor, William Gus (Gustavious)WHITE who named his daughter Augusta...(Gussie) and always wondered where the family got those partcular names and your posting is the first one that lists anything close. William GusWHITE's father was Jacob S. [for Straughn] White and he was from the east somewhere. Jacob S was an M.D. served in the U.S.Army during the Mexicn war and again as a Major in the Union Army in the Indiana 34th Regiment as Surgeon...Resigned as Ill in 1864, died 1865 in Kokomo, Indiana. His wife was Elizabeth Grant White and they lived in Breckinridge Co.
