    3. Good morning list, All of the pre-paid orders for Mr. Sheehan's book, "White Family Heritage" have now been shipped. I am unsure of just how many books that he may have shipped, but I have shipped 220. Seeing how many are still left, I would say that there must been more than 300 orders that have been filled. This will probably be my last E-mail message to the list, but I will keep the White mailbox open for a while longer just in case there might be more orders coming in from latecomers to the list or who did not order before, but wish to do so now. Now to Mr. Sheehan's condition: He is stable and about the same, no better and no worse. Many of you have offered prayers and your best wishes for his recovery. I have passed all of this on to him and he is very appreciative. I am of the belief that this extreme outpouring from you will give his recovery a big boost. Sincerely, Otis Webber, CCG

    1. [WHITE] First Ships discussion list
    2. First Ships
    3. Hi Friends, I'm pleased to announce a new list called First Ships. http://www.mdwsweb.com/genealogy-lists/firstshipslist.html From the description at the list home page: --- This list is for research and sharing of information on those people who came to New England on the first ships, their lives, why they came here, their ancestors and descendants wherever they may be, as well as those who married into these families. The ships include the Mayflower, the Fortune, the Anne and the Little James. There are many mailing lists focusing on the individual surnames of many of these people but this list brings them together so we can study them as a group, as family units, and as individuals. Feel free to create a database to share your information; use the files area to upload your gedcom or other genealogical or historical document; the photos area to display your ancestors connected with these lines or artwork relating to early colonial New England; and the links area to promote your favorite websites. And of course I encourage all to participate in the daily discussions. --- I'm very excited about the future of the FirstShips list and I expect it will be a great success. There are many discussion areas for Mayflower descendants and I felt there was a need for a list to discuss all the people of that group who first came to New England including those who came on The Fortune, The Anne and The Little James. Thus this list was created. Go to http://www.mdwsweb.com/genealogy-lists/firstshipslist.html for sign up information. David FirstShips listowner Permission is granted to forward this message to anyone you think might be interested.

    1. [WHITE] Elizabeth White Taylor
    2. Carol
    3. I think that Elizabeth White may have come from Perquimans or Pasquotank County in NC. She married James Taylor and they moved to Rutherford, then Bedford Co, TN. Their daughter was Nancy Taylor who married William Stafford Taylor, b. 1804 in NC. Perhaps in one of the above mentioned counties. Some members of my family have information that puts James and Elizabeth White Taylor from Craven Co., NC. Nancy was born 25 May, 1806. I would appreciate any information on this family. Thanks, Carol
