They had seven (7) children. John Barthomew.......... born about 1848 ..died in Alabama... Have wife and children for him. Buried at Ten Island in Calhoun Co. Al William Harrison............born about 1848 ...died in Oklahoma, have information about his family. Lewis .........................know very little about him. He was in Polk County Georgia in 1880 census Frances (female).........know nothing of her other than she was on the 1860 census with the family. I am going to repost also. I am looking for any information on a Charles (Charlie, Charley) M. White. He was born around 1853 in Alabama. I have found him in the Coosa County census in the Weogufka area. He murdered a man in Rockford and he was the first man to be legally hung there. The sheriff's daughter wrote an article about the incident and I came across it. She has passed on since wrinting that article. The sheriff was a Goggans. He had several children. Scott Henry, Mark, Major, Levia, lonnie, and Gertrude. I believe he was hung around 1913. I went to the courthouse there in Rockford and could get no one to help me. Jumping onthe band wagon here and reposting. I had some great information on my Whites and my comp crashed big-time I lost everything I had but information from my Great Aunt Lexa's "Book of my memories and special events" My Grandmothers maiden name was White. She was Freezie Corniela White born 8/01/1902 White Plaines Surry County VA died 1987 VA Beach VA. Freezie's parent's were William Riley White (Will) born 1859 or 1858 depending on who you ask,and Susan Jackson Jones White age unknown (second marrage for both). Will and Susan had two other daughters together Lexa born 12/24/1896, Carrie born 9/07/1899. Both had been married before Will was married to Susan's sister Elizabeth Jackson they had one son Joe Bill White he was two when his mother died after having all her teeth removed. Susan had been married to Lenord Jones date and reason for death unknown. They had four children two died of malaria Maggie at 6 years old and Hubert 12. the two surviving childern were Albert who was born 1882 and Leatha born 1884. I am not sure of death dates of any or the birth years of the two that died as children. Will's parents were William Riley known as Riley and Sarah Nicholes. I know this William Riley White served in the Confederate Army of the Civil War and died from exposure shortly after the war ended. Not quite sure what kind of exposure I would guess from being in the cold but it's just a guess. Riley and Sarah had six children two sons William Riley and John, four daughters Molly who married a Hodge, Martha, Sarah and Winnie. I have no information on the latter three. Molly lived near by and is mentioned in my Great-Aunt Lexia's book of memories as she called it. Sarah Nicholes White died in 1900. Any bells ringing out there? Hello, I am searching for a John Thomas White and families. I know he was born around 1848-1851 (conflicting records as to the exact year) in Troy, NY. He married Amanda Harbert White. John Thomas White went by the name Thomas and all I have for his parents are Father: White, Mother:O'Neal both from Ireland. John Thomas White and Amanda had 1 child in Indiana, then moved to Illinois (Clark County) where several of their children were born, around 1890s they moved to East Tennessee where they had 2 or more children.
