Have found some new information on this family-- Anything look familiar to any of you??? Looking for information John Adolphus Tillman WHITAKER (b.9 March 1852 GA) who married Marry Margarette COTTON (b. 1857-GA) in 1880 in Georgia. They had the following children --James Cotton (b.1883-GA)( m.Vinna Campbell SHACKELFORD) Thomas L (b.1885 -GA), Jason L (b. 1886-TX), Emma L. (b. 1890-TX), John Adolphus (b. 19 March 1892-Whitesboro,TX)(m. Lucy Pauline ASHTON- 7 Sep 1919 in OR) and Anna M (b.1895-OK). Does anyone know where in Georgia this family comes from. Anyone else searching ????
