Maybe if we all posted our most wanted Whitaker, it would generate a little more activity. I am a newbie to genealogy research. I am searching for information on Almander Whitaker and Ora (Banks) Whitaker. He was from KY and she was a Cherokee Indian. After they were married, probably shortly before 1920, they moved to Missouri and possibly Texas before settling in Hazard, KY. They had at least one child: Clarance Leonard Whitaker born 2-15-20.
