Hi, I am tracing the ancestors of John Adolphus Tillman Whitaker b. 9 March 1852, in Georgia and died 28 January 1922 in Wichita Falls TX. He married in 1880 Mary Margarette Cotton. John was murdered by his wife. John's parents are said to be John Thompson Whitaker (b. 1821) and Mary Ann Myhand. John Thompson Whitaker's parents are said to be William Whitaker and Sarah Thompson.
