Platt Whitaker appears on the 1810, 1820 and 1830 census in Maryland. John Whitaker - Harriet Myers 7/27/1822 are listed on a LDS microfilm (0014116), Marriage Licenses Harford County, MD 1774 -1886. I am researching the Whitakers of Baltimore. My gg grandfather was George W. Whitaker born abt. 1823. I believe he may be the son of Howard Whitaker who married Hannah Ruff in 1815. I am trying to link Howard to the family of Isaac & Eliz. Hill since, according to Beaumont Whitaker's article, they are the family that remained in Baltimore. Their sons were John Sweynard, Joshua, Samuel and Benjamin. Any information on them and their children would be welcomed. Marion Whitaker Baker
