Well seeing this list is active again I will see if anyone can help me here. I am still looking for any information on James Cotton WHITAKER. He is the oldest child of John Adolphus Tillman Whitaker and Mary Margarette Cotton, he was born in Georgia (could be West Point) between 1880 and 1884. This family moved around a lot. He married Vinna Campbell SHACKELFORD, about 1906 in IL (possibly Mariam IL). Vinna died in June of 1919 in Casper WY. According to his father obituary he is still living in WY in 1922. He and Vinna had 4 children and the children were put in orphanages. When and where did he die ???? Gerrie
