Nancy Henry, 9/2/1839 >> Hi Lisa, Where are you? Your mail came back to me undelivered. My ggrandfather was James Madison Whitaker born in GA 1851/52 died in 1929 and married to a Nancy (? maiden) born in AL 1863 died Jan 19, 1943. You are the first person to ever mention a James Madison and I find it so exciting. All of James and Nancy's children were born in AL probably Coffee Co. where my grandmother was born. The Children include Daniel J. Eva Ella, Cleveland, Lila C., Sally V., Bertie Lee they were all born between 1878 and 1894. James parents were born in GA and Nancy's parents were born in AL I believe James parents were William and Elizabeth born in 1828 and 1830. Their children were Melissa and Narcissa, twins: Mary J., James, Emma, William, Martha. They were living in Henry Co., AL during the census of 1870. William's brothers were David, John, Columbus, and Nathan. Princessa
