I have the article "The Whitaker Family of Baltimore County, MD, 1677 - 1767" by Beaumont Whitaker. My problem is trying to link my family to John Whitacre. My grandfather William E. Whitaker (born 1853) and g grandfather George W. Whitaker (born abt. 1823) were both born in Harford County, MD. Since my family stayed in Harford County, until the 1880's I believe I may be connected to the family of Isaac Whitaker and Elizabeth Hill. My problem is the article ends with the generation of the 1760's. I am probably missing two generations to link my family with either John S. or Joshua Whitaker since Samuel and Benjamin left Harford County. I would appreciate any information.
