Here is an update on our Whitaker search: John Whitaker who was 60 in 1860 living in Knox County, MO. No wife listed on census. Living with grandson, Eldridge Campbell age 15. We think we may have found John. We think he was the oldest son of Isaac Whitaker and Susannah Harris.
