I descend from William Whitaker who died in 1832 in Orange Co., NC. His wife was Lucy. They had a son William who married Nancy. William and Nancy had a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Whitaker b.7/22/1827 in NC, m.10/14/1845, d.5/12/1885 in Kaufman TX. Elizabeth married James F. Horn. Her mother may have remarried to a Smith.
