"Cousin Mack" would have been a grandson of Mark Whitaker (1750) who was the brother of John Whitaker (1760). According to my records, Marcus Boone Whitaker (1806) md Rosanna Rutledge and John Whitaker (1785) md Elizabeth Love, were both sons of Mark Whitaker and Catherine Boone. I know that would make Catherine about 46 when Marcus Boone was born, but does anyone have any proof otherwise?
