    3. Hi Nancy & Joan, I think I'm back. Still more funerals coming up. My son's English teacher still has not returned since 11 Sept. Her husband was one of the most seriously injured to be removed from the Pentagon. What I'll attempt to do here is just to respond to the numerous emails that you all have sent over the last few weeks in a chronological order and to add whatever else I can. In reference to the Pascal Whitaker (1817/27-1892) discussed, I have him 10 years younger (1817 instead of 1827) with "Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire, by E. S. Stearns & William Whitcher, 1908", email from Sheila Carlson (misty@cris.com), and the 1880 census as collaboration. 1880 Census Place: Pittsford, Rutland, Vermont Source: FHL Film 1255347 National Archives Film T9-1347 Page 242B Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace Paschal WHITTAKER Self M M W 63 VT Occ: Carriage Manufacturer Fa: MA Mo: CT Mary M. Yes, I am a descendant of John & Dolly (Fay) Whitaker. They are my g-g-g-grandparents. My maternal grandmother was a Whitaker born in Newport, Orleans Co, VT. Her dad, Eugene Edgar Whitaker, was the town doctor and grandson of John & Dolly Whitaker and son of Abner Newton Whitaker & Maudana Titus. I have John Whitaker, (1743-1829), serving as a private in the New Hampshire militia during the Rev War. I got my info on his birth place & date from "Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire, by E. S. Stearns & William Whitcher, 1908". More to come. Mike Let Freedom Ring!
