William T. Whitaker, of Goodlettsville, TN, who worked at McMurray Structural Steel and other Nashville firms during his 40-year career in the steel business, died January 15, 2002. He was 66. Mr. Whitaker served his country as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division and was stationed in Germany in the mid-1950s. He will be remembered for his creativity and imagination, and as a modest and humble man whose first priority was his family.
