Bullin Hutson, C. E., b. 12-7-1890, d. 7-23-1891 Hutson, J. G., b. 6-24-1886, d. 8-5-1886 Hutson, W. C., b. 8-11-1888, d. 1- 4-1889 Reid, Malinda Whitaker, b. 8-6-1867, d. 12-9-1895; w/o J. M. Reid and d/o W. Frank Whitaker & Nancy E. Hudson; grave says "Nancy E. Hudson and her two daughters", unknown if J. M. Reid is buried there. Venable, Nancy E. Hutson, b. 4-9-1878, d. 6-17-1900; w/o J. R. Venable; unknown if J. R. Venable is buried there Whitaker, Clyde W., b. 9-12-1921, d. 3-26-1939; s/o W. G. Whitaker & Letitia May Bullin Whitaker, Kemp O., b. 8-11-1923, d. 6-28-1925; s/o W. G. Whitaker & Letitia May Bullin Whitaker, Lacy Franklin, b. 6-2-1937, d. 6- 2-1937; s/o Lacy Franklin Whitaker & Myrtie Whitaker; unkown if parents are buried there Whitaker, Letitia May Bullin, b. 4-27-1889, d. 6-18-1941; w/o W. G. Whitaker; d/o Lucinda Bullin Whitaker, Nancy E Hudson, b. 1-3-1844, d. 4-1924; w/o W. Frank Whitaker Whitaker, W. Frank, b. 10-3-1848, d. 6-13-1920; h/o Nancy E. Hudson (Hutson??) Whitaker, W. G., b. 8-26-1883, d. 2-5-1961; h/o Letitia May Bullin Cemetery is still in fairly good shape, and was on the survey conducted by the Surry County Genealogy Association back in the 80s. There is also evidence that there are other graves there without stones as well. Part of my WHITAKER heritage. Hello Bob, Can you tell me the boundaries of Surry County ? Frank Whitaker, and Clyde Whitaker names are in my line I think. thought maybe if I knew where County Boundaries are that maybe I could better figure out if it could be in the same family I am searching . Well. . . let's see. It depends on what time frame you are talking about, but currently, it is bounded on the north by Grayson and Carroll County, VA, . . . to the west by Alleghany and Wilkes County, NC, to the south byYadkin County, NC, and to the east and southest by Stokes and Forsyth County. Now, if you go back into the late 1700s, Surry County covers most of those counties I just listed, except VA. :-) I'm descended from the William and Jonathan WHITAKER I lines of Surry County and I just like to wander around the countryside to find old graves and fmily cemeteries and take photos of them.
