Need a little more info than this - there are many Robert J. Whitaker's. Need a time place and a location if possible and father and mother - if you know and their location.

Thanks for responding. The Robert James Whitaker I am trying to research was from North Carolina. He was born about 1813, and was married November 10, 1835 to Frances Teal (born about 1819. They had seven children, SV, MJ, AC L, Elizabeth, JF, and MM. The family eventually moved to Georgia. The only thing I really know is the family were long standing Methodist.
