Cookey and Sallie, After reading your info posted today, I think we have to different Whitaker families I have no connection to any of the names you listed. My Whitakers came to East TX from GA and married into the John Crow family and Leftwich lines which had both also come from GA. Thanks for the responses. Jetta in OK
