Harriette, Thank you also for replying. I am really stuck with my Whitaker's. The earliest information I have is that Thomas Whitaker was born circa 1790 in WOR. I have checked on the IGI for any Thomas' born in Wor and have only found one that it might be and that is, Thomas WHITAKER born 14/2/1790 St.Helen Worcester,Worcester,England to Richard WHITAKER and Jane BUTLER who were married Worcester June 1789. I have nothing at all before that. I was hoping I could trace them to Lancashire.
