Help! I am trying to get into the DAR, and lack dates on one generation: My ancestor is Mark Whitaker b. 8 Apr 1750 NC, d. 1842 Lincoln Co. TN. Married Catherine (Katie) Boone 1 Mar 1780 in Rowan Co., NC. They had a daughter, Mary (Polly) married Charles Lucas in Lincoln Co., TN about 1802. This is my problem generation. I have several proofs of the lineage, marriage, etc., but no dates. What I need is a marriage record or cemetery or bible record showing birth and death dates. Can anyone help? I will be glad to share all the info I have on this line. My branch migrated to Arkansas then to Texas.
