    3. Hello Whieakers or Whitakers as the case may be. I know in my family it is spelled both ways. My tree which I will show below is spelled Whiteaker as that is the way my line spelled it but another of David Whiteaker spelled as David Whitaker. I would certainly like to find the parents of David Whiteaker. What information I ahve on him or any other folks in my file, I will be happy to share. He was a gunsmith in TN. They sold their property in White Co., probably Sparta, in 1835 and moved to Grand River Township in Missouri. He built a watermill for both lumber and meal on Grandstone Creek. David Whiteaker (1792 - 1854) came from North Carolina to White Co., TN an then to Missouri. (Note: TN in early years was a part of NC)
