Regarding Velma Vera Walters Moore who passed away on her 95th birthday, April 6, 1998. I had just recently made contact with Velma, who is my 2nd cousin twice removed, through her daughter Billie Beth. Velma contributed a lot to my Whitaker genealogy, those that came to Nacogdoches County, TX from Lincoln County, TN. I wish I had made her acquaintance years ago.
