    3. Hello Cathy, I don't have much information to offer, but sometimes one little clue will help. On the old Whitaker Family Tree Chart there is a Harmon Whitaker birth date unknown He was the son of Byron Whitaker b. 20 May 1856 and Anna South (Abraham, Stephen, Jonathan, Jonathan, Jr., Jonathan Whitaker, I.) Byron's father was Abraham Whitaker b. 13 November 1830 who married Louisa Williams and Sally South. He lived in Newtonville, Ohio and had seven children know to me. Since the name Harmon is unusual, I thought that perhaps this was a family name and that maybe one of Byron's brothers also had a Harmon. Abraham;s children known to me were Nettie, Perry, Byron, Floyd, Earl, and Vernon Whitaker. I hope this helps.
