Hello, I am new to this list. I haven't received anything from the list yet so am sending this to see if it gets posted back to me as well as to try for information. I am looking for anything on James Martin Whitaker (my g-grandfather). I think he was born in 1848 in NC. He married Sarah Ann Baker who I think was born in MO in 1850. I think they were married in MO. possibly in Wright Co., probably about 1868-69 as their first child (of 6) was born in 1870. He was Robert Columbus Whitaker. The youngest, John Harrison Whitaker, born in 1886 was my grandfather. The family at some point moved to Texas. I would love to get more info. on the family. Gail Willett [email protected]
