Malinda C. (Milly) Whitaker married Sampson Lewis inBuncombe County, N.C. around 1828. Milly was born in 1803 in N.C. They had the following children: 1. John Leiws born 1829 in TN 2. Lucinda Lewis born 1832 in TN 3. Margaret (Peggy) born 1834 in N.C. 4. Biddy Lewis born 1835 in TN 5. David Lewis born 1838 in TN 6. Eli Lewis born 1840 in MO 7. William Lewis born 1842 in MO 8. Nancy Lewis born 1845 in MO 9. Amanda Lewis born 1846 in MO 10. Emiline Lewis born1850 MO 11. Baby (Thomas ?) Lewis born 1852 in MO. Sampson and Millie lived in St. Francois County, MO in 1840 and in Butler, County, MO in 1850. Sampson died in 1854. Unable to find Milly and children after 1854. Does anyone know where they went?
