Hello, Can anyone tell me who all of the children were of John "Pegleg" Whitaker below? I have a John Whitaker born in late 1700's but I don't know where. He was married to Catharine Wright in 1817 in Cumberland County, KY. She, however, was born about 1798 somewhere in North Carolina. This family moved on to Montgomery County, IN. Just wondered if John "Pegleg" Whitaker might have had a son John born about the time mine was and if so, does anyone know more about him? Thought I might have a shot at this one.
