N of Hwy. 268 West, Ararat Community, Surry County, NC (this is west of Pilot Mountain): Whitaker, Albert L, b. 1878, d. 1857 Whitaker, Ellen Jennifer, b. 1884, d. 1-17-1967 Whitaker, Harvey G., b. 1919, d. 1986 Whitaker, Jennie L., b. 1883, d. 1967 Whitaker, Lillie E, b. 7-19-1883, d. 2-4-1963 Whitaker, Pearl, b. 8-1911, d. 1977 Whitaker, Seavada E, b. 1907, d. 11-6-1994 Whitaker, Wesley T, b. 2-15-1909, d. 7-24-1934 I don't have any other information on these WHITAKER ancestors or the JOHNSON people that is supposedly the land owners from years ago, but saw your post and decided to let you know what I have.
