William Whitaker (b.1618), of James City County, VA, was identified by Sarah Cantey (Whitaker) Allen in her book, OUR CHILDREN'S ANCESTRY, as a son of Jabez Whitaker and his wife, Mary Bourchier. She assigned him a death date of 1662. Do any subscribers know what justification, if any, she may have used to place his death date in 1662?
