Dennis, Herbert isn't of my line, but as far as scanning the small photo... If that doesn't work, go to a Kinko's or Lazerquik (a copy place that has laser color copy machines). Have them copy and enlarge it on the copy machine. But make sure they use the color machine ... even if the photo is black and white...it will copy clearer. I've done that with many of my "old" photos and they come out looking like a real photograph. Shouldn't be more than $1.50 a picture, if that much. Some places are really reasonable.
