    3. Hi, all. I have posted names on the BAGBY list, but there was so much material to put over there, that I thought I would make it a bit less involved, since this lady, Lucinda, is my only ancestor from the Whitaker lines. Lucinda Whitaker was born 5-12-1821 somewhere (I believe) in North Carolina. We are told that her father's name was Johnothan. We do not have the name of her mother, nor any other names from the family group, or any ancestors, on either side of her family. We think we are a bit short, in the details of her life!! She was the wife of Abner BAGBY, b. 9-4-1810, also in unknown, NC, and she and her husband are my GGGP. Their son was Wesley McCarger BAGBY, b. 11-2-1852, in Yadkin Co., NC. Wesley became a methodist pastor, and served the Methodist Church in the western part of NC, for many years, into the early 1900's. If anyone out there in this audience can tell us more about Lucinda, or her family, we will very much appreciate all the information you might be willing to share!! Thanks, and my regards. Wanda Willis DUKE

    3. Wandajoe, count me in with the descendants like Susan Gall and Joyce Dressel. :-) Your Lucinda was a daughter f my great-great-great-grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth HOWARD. One of Lucinda's sisters was Sarah Elizabeth WHITAKER, who married William Henry Harrison PATTERSON, my direct line down to my mother, Irene Patterson CARTER. Have information on the PATTERSON and more on the WHITAKER lines that I am descended from as well. Susan and Joyce? Have ya'll sent me your data? Also, did I send you a photo of the graves of Abram WHITAKER and Lydia WHITAKER that I took last Fall? If not, let me know and I'll send one to you. That applies to you too Wanda. Welcome to the family of researchers!! There are some STOLTZ lines that live in MO that are related back to us as well. Will advise them for you.
