Janet Proof is hard to find for Jemima...or anyone else that long ago. However, a cousin, Larry Whiteaker, hired a genealogist who researched this family. It can be found at "Myfamily.com" (Whiteaker). This is where I first saw Jemima Moore listed. This report says she married again after James died to "a Mr. Ausley or Ensley." She is in the right place in the 1850 US Census, Allen County, which is where much of the family, including John, moved after Dearborn Co. Both Daniel and John died in Allen Co. These two men are, probably, the first to use the spelling "Whiteaker" which is what is used by my Wisconsin relative to this day. I think there are some inaccuracies in this Myfamily.com report, but it contains a lot of info I didn't have. This isn't much more than u have, but hopefully it will fit with some of your info.
