Your message has me very interested. I am looking for relatives of my ggrandfather James DeGroff Whitaker, b. 1842 in Saratoga Co. NY to an Edgar D. Whitaker according to his death cert. James's son , my grandfather was named Otto Sylvanus. Could there be a connection irregardless of the spelling difference.?
