Not to change th purpose of this list, but I want to support. Depression runs in the family. (not my Whitaker family) My son, sister, father, aunt, uncle and I all are successfully treated. My son since the age of seven. There are many new medications that have fewer side effects than the old ones. Nothing to be ashamed of. Society is learning slowly that this is physiological. RE: Whitakers and depression In our Whitaker clan we have depression occuring in each generation. My father's generation of five out of six suffering from depression. Some have asked me if this runs in the Whitaker 'legacy'.
