I have relatives in that area. I know back to my great grand father and that is all the further I know back. Most of his family is in Grayson county and were buried in a private cemetry near Baywood, just outside of Galax. My grandfather lived in Carroll county. I know of Cana, but I don't know if that was my relation that is buried there. If you would like to pass along the information I would appreciate it. And if anyone knows anymore about any Robert Whitaker that lived a good part of his life in Baywood I would appreciate hearing it.
